After lunch at ICONSIAM in Bangkok, I dropped by Siam drip for a good cup of coffee and spend some quiet time on my own. This specialty hand drip coffee stall is located on the fourth floor of the mall.

Hidden within the handcraft section, the cafe is somewhat difficult to spot but certainly worth discovering. Despite its compact setup, it offers a wide range of coffee options, with hand brewed drip coffee as its standout feature. You can choose your preferred coffee beans, and the barista will carefully prepare it for you right on the spot. The coffee is served in ceramic cups, which help maintain the ideal temperature for a good coffee.

I opted for my favorite Ethiopian beans, resulting in a bright, aromatic cup with distinct floral and fruity notes it's a perfect midday refreshment. The brew was clean and well balanced, with excellent water temperature control that truly did justice to the beans.

What makes this spot even more appealing is the seating. Sitting in a quiet corner, it offers a range of very comfortable chairs, allowing you to relax for as long as you like while observing the lively mall atmosphere around you. It’s an ideal setup for those who wish to unwind without feeling rushed.

Although the prices are slightly on the higher side, they are reasonable given the quality and overall experience. For true coffee lovers, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Opening a cafe is a dream many people hold, yet only a few truly excel at it. With cafes popping up everywhere, coffee lovers today are spoiled for choice. Many places shine brightly online, only to disappoint upon arrival. But the cafe I’m reviewing today is a rare exception. It delivers excellence across the board ambience, coffee, desserts, and service all hit the highest notes.

Let me start with this, the place isn’t easy to find. The road leading to it can even feel a little intimidating. But trust me — once you’ve been there, you’ll want to return again.

While its advertisements highlight a garden theme, the real experience goes far beyond that. The space is expansive, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully balanced. Every seat feels intentionally placed, creating an atmosphere of comfort, calm, and spaciousness. Outdoors, everything from the flooring, the towering trees, the gravel paths, even the subtle mist rising to enhance the humidity, elevates the cafe’s character to something truly refined. With soothing music floating through the space, it feels less like a café and more like a sanctuary where coffee becomes an experience.

Their coffee selection is extensive, and the desserts beautifully crafted in-house are a highlight of their own. The taro flavored pastry, in particular, was unforgettable. It was my first time encountering such a flavor, and it left a lasting impression. The coffee itself is brewed with genuine care, reflecting the owner’s dedication in every cup.

This cafe has remarkable potential, and I sincerely hope the owner continues to nurture it. For now, I understand the cafe opens only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. so if you plan to visit, make sure to check the schedule.

A humble suggestion could be the indoor design feels a little crampy. Unnecessary decorative items should be removed to create space for more relaxing feel.

I visited Sriracha today after seeing this fresh milk bread shop on Douyin. The shop only opens at 3 PM, and since I finished my errands at 2, I waited an hour hoping to experience what makes this place special so I could share it with everyone.

The shop is known for its delicate, visually appealing mini bread balls. These colorful little bread balls are skewered on bamboo sticks and grilled over high heat charcoal before being served. They pair perfectly with the shop’s signature fresh milk dipping sauce, which is truly exceptional. There are several sauce flavors to choose from, with the classic pandan fresh milk sauce being the most popular. They also offer a Thai milk tea flavor served with rich condensed milk. sweet toothed visitors will definitely love it.

The combination of freshly grilled bread and warm, creamy milk feels like the perfect breakfast pairing, though I’m still curious why the shop only opens at 3 PM.

The interior is simple and compact, seating about 8 to 10 people at most. The staff are very friendly and talkative, and the place is kept spotlessly clean. Overall, it’s a rare gem an old-school shop with a fresh, modern twist.

I unexpectedly discovered a small, exquisite hotel whose name and theme were appealing. I explored its cafe, located on the ground floor, which serves as the hotel's restaurant and lounge.
The cafe features a Cuban color theme and ambiance. It utilizes the space between two buildings, allowing natural sunlight while staying cool. The atmosphere is excellent, enhanced by Cuban music and vintage decorations, creating an authentic, flavorful experience. Coffee and desserts were very well crafted. alcoholic beverages and cocktails were impressive. The menu and staff uniforms are unique and complement the Cuban theme.
While coffee and dessert options are limited, the presentation and attention to detail are superb, making you feel like you're sipping coffee in Cuba.
I definitely plan to visit again.

Kaffee House, A Hidden Gem in the Industrial Area

Tucked away in the industrial zone, this small cafe is an absolute delight. Though compact and best suited for intimate gatherings of two or three, its meticulous attention to detail sets it apart. What truly stands out is the owner’s dedication: every beverage is crafted with care and presented thoughtfully. down to the neatly arranged spoons and napkins.

Recently, the ambiance has been elevated further with a soothing, well-curated playlist and generous air-conditioning that makes the space incredibly comfortable. Equally impressive are the transparent, reasonable prices, making it a spot worth revisiting often.

After refining my thoughts multiple times, I confidently award this little sanctuary a full five stars. A perfect retreat for quiet moments.

Located in the heart of Bangkok's vibrant Chinatown, this charming, retro style coffee shop immediately draws you in with its historic facade. The space is compact, everything is visible at a glance yet it holds decades of stories. Upon entering, an old refrigerator stands to the right, a true witness of time. I was pleasantly surprised to learn from the owner that it remains in use today. It proofs that with care and attention, things can truly stand the test of time.

The shop appears to be transitioning from the older generation to the new. The young owner is clearly dedicated and passionate, and with seamless communication, I have no doubt the legacy of this place is in good hands.

The menu focuses on simple classics drinks, toasted bread, and soft boiled eggs. The kaya toast was delightful the spread was not overly sweet, staying true to the traditional style. Personally, I prefer the toast a bit crispier and more fragrant, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. As for the coffee, it was fairly standard without a distinct traditional flair, though served in small vintage glasses and the bread on the old coated metal plate, which beautifully enhanced the nostalgic atmosphere.

A true highlight was the soft boiled egg. It was perfectly cooked, fresh, and fragrant. Seasoned lightly with soy sauce and pepper, it brought back a wave of the old school memories.

If there’s one gentle suggestion, it would be to reconsider some of the decor items that feel out of sync with the retro vibe. In such an authentically aged space, modern or mismatched elements can slightly disrupt the immersion.

Overall, this is a unique spot in Bangkok’s Chinatown that’s well worth a visit for its history, its charm, and that perfectly cooked egg.

Som Som, a well-known Thai restaurant situated in the city center, carries the Chinese name "Song Song Restaurant." The venue features a vibrant orange color scheme, matching it's Thai name. The restaurant is specializing in a range of classic Thai dishes, stands out particularly for its crab and shrimp dishes.

The place tends to be quite busy, attracting mostly international tourists who come seeking an authentic experience. While the portion sizes are somewhat modest, possibly aligned with local Thai standard. The price is on the higher side. The dining environment is fairly standard, with limited space and closely arranged tables, creating a cozy but slightly cramped atmosphere.

In terms of flavor, the food delivers a solid and authentic Thai taste. As a foreigner, I can’t claim definitive expertise, but based on my experiences with various Thai restaurants, the quality here is quite commendable. Service, however, is average; while there appears to be an effort in staff training, some of the foreign employees seem not attractive enough perhaps due to cultural or communication gaps.

The drink menu is fairly standard as well, without any particularly standout options.
At this price point, one might find more genuinely traditional Thai meals elsewhere in Bangkok. That said, considering its central location and the convenience of paid parking available nearby at the stadium one, Som Som remains a decent choice.

A special mention goes to the glass noodle shrimp pot, a delightful dish with excellent flavor and appealing presentation. Keep up the good work!

Just like the name, LA Cremerie serves a variety of cheesy & creamy cakes. A good place to add some sweets to your life and perhaps to match with their bitter Americano.
This cafe & restaurant can be quite busy sometimes. Price on high side but worth to try!
