Introducing MAPS
It all started 6 years ago. Just 3 properties trusted to us by people prepared to take a chance. Property by day and the graft of being a waiter in a restaurant at night. Those 3 properties became 6. Those 6 became 12 and to be honest we could never have dreamt of where this would go. Today we have a staff of 12 working for MAPS and an additional 7 at LaVanta. It has grown beyond all of our expectations and with this growth comes new challenges. When we started our main objective was simply to do our very best and keep our owners and their guests happy. Despite our growth this remains our core objective. Dare we say that maybe we are getting it right........
We do maintenance and management, we look after pools and gardens, we clean ( we do lots of cleaning) we pay bills, we hold hands and accompany people when they need to see the lawyer or accountant, we do rentals, we organise transfers and in the Winter we help our clients upgrade or refresh their properties by doing building jobs. Are we good at it - well our growth suggests we must be doing something alright. But as well as our actual jobs we do try to speak to our clients on a regular basis. We believe that communication is key. You’ve invested all this money on a property thousands of miles away, and have trusted it’s care to an outside company. We think you’l feel slightly better about it all if you get regular pictures and updates and as part of this communication we drag you into our lives, telling you about what we are up to, our friends and families and what we get up to when we’re not looking after your place!
Do we love it? Hell yes! Is it stressful? Hell yes? Do we have moments where we want to scream and throw in the towel? Of course we do! But every day we get up and go back for more because we have some amazing clients and their thank you and genuine appreciation of what we do for them makes it all worth while!
