Yesterday we took a trip to Hamam Koyu - Cleopatra Baths, taking a boat from Sarsala Beach and walking the last stretch along the cosstline to the Baths

The sea was beautifully clear and a stunning blue green colour.

Our review: There's an entrance fee of 295 tl (card payment only) to park the car at Sarsala Beach. There is no road to Hamam Koyu itself.

Then there's a return boat fare of 4000 tl to a very expensive restaurant that you don't need to eat at.

You can also walk for free from Sarsala Beach to Cleopatra Baths - Hamam Koyu. This takes about two and a half to three hours depending on your level of fitness.

Then a 30-40 minute fairly easy walk along the coastline to Hamam Koyu - Cleopatra Baths. Do NOT follow footpath marks taking you up the mountain.

However the walk is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

You could take a picnic to the baths or eat fried food at the cheap restaurant at Sarsala Beach in your return. There is a discount on prices at the restaurant for those that have a Dalaman card.

We were surprised to see a Jetty at the Hamam Koyu which is hopefully just a temporary intrusion. Local boats make this a stop off as part of their daily schedule but it was not overly busy.

Thanks to everyone that came to the Çalıṣ May Fair, supported all the creative artisans and just popped by to say hello 👋 we had a lovely time and it was hot and sunny all day until packing up time.

Thanks also to the Çalıṣ Children's Charity and all the organisers

In case you hadn't already realised (😉) Doğan and I have a stall at the May Fair, Sunday 24th on Çalıṣ promenade, where we'll be selling mosaic lighting at bargain basement prices, Hamam Towels, (Bamboo, Linen and Cotton) along with other Turkish handcrafts and some of my 100% natural skincare products: cold pressed soaps, daisy balm and lip balm. We hope to see you there 😊

Before we went to the Blue Thermal Hot Spring Spa Doğan checked out somewhere to eat afterwards. We're quite partial to a Traditional Turkish Village Breakfast and he stumbled across a venue serving breakfasts all day.

It's not the kind of place you'd be likely to stumble across but it's a very short drive off the D400, perfect for anyone visiting Dalaman, Sarigerme, Ortaca and even Dalyan, and well worth the effort to combine a visit with a trip to the area.

We appreciated that the same breakfast dishes were served to every two people. None of this same number of plates whether there's two or ten of you and charging for extra when there's not enough to go around...

Possibly advisable to phone / message ahead to let the family know you're coming / on your way. We gave half an hour's notice.
