You can buy property in Turkey to apply for the Turkish citizenship by investment and to get the Turkish passport. For example, you can buy a property at much cheaper price if the owner needs cash money. Also, there are more properties in the resale market. The new properties are mostly more expensive. If you buy new property, I advise you to look at renowned developer who change the neighborhood positively with their project. These projects might give good returns when they are completed and people start living in.
