🤫 How we built a 1,600 sq ft home when the limit was 1,000…

We used two major loopholes to maximize our first built-to-rent Airbnb DADU:

📐 The Ceiling Height Trick: Anything under 7ft doesn’t count toward living square footage! By optimizing our rooflines, we were able to add extra space without hitting the city’s cap.

📦 The Storage Conversion: Unheated storage space is also exempt. We designed this area as storage and converted it into a 4th bedroom afterward.

The result? A 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom powerhouse that out-scales almost every other DADU on the market. 🚀🔥
