How nice...
After buying another property through Selo (who was then working for another company) almost ten years ago, I instantly felt we had, at long last found someone who was a genuine agent who was honest , reliable, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, how he put up with my endless questions I will never know to this day, after all, buying in Turkiye was a massive move for us but we did.
Ever since then we have kept in contact with Selo as friends.
Selo always always knew we eventually wanted to move as our ultimate dream was to live in the countryside with breathtaking views & then suddenly out of the blue after tens years he called me & said “ I think I’ve found what you have been dreaming of “ and that he certainly did, we viewed it, fell in love with it and put the offer in, amazingly after all those years he shared our vision ….what a memory !!!!
Next step was to sell our property in Calis and with no hesitation we used Selo at Property wizard and why wouldn’t we, in our opinion, he’s the best around. He was there the same day, taking pictures, next day the brochure was put together and he marketed it hard and fast, within a week we had received an offer and a deposit was in our bank.
Unfortunately there were issues with the Tapu being in my wife’s maiden name which caused a major problem but Selo being Selo jumped straight in with what we needed to do, unfortunately it meant relying on the UK passport office to provide the information, to cut a long story short it took months but he guided us throughout the whole process, even recommending a Turkish Lawyer in Convent Garden, London who was incredible to deal with and not very expensive.
Four months later our forever dream home is being being renovated, our old house in Calis was turn key so they are happy buyers & I’ve got say without this genuine, hard working, knowledgable and extremely helpful man I don’t think our move would have happened, believe me, he’s one of a kind, a great company, whether buying or selling Property Wizard is your first stop…
