Oilspill Update
Canoe Bay Family, thank you all so much for reaching out and enquiring about the impact of the oilspill on the beach. We have been so Blessed to have not yet had any oil or debris wash upon the beach. Keeping our fingers crossed that it stays that way. These pics were taken at 11am today 10/02/2024 (the beach facility is closed for the Carnival period for a group of returning customers).

The coastline just east of us, however, hasn't been as lucky and it is truly an ecological disaster that is worthy of national attention. There has been a call for clean up volunteers so if you are able-bodied and are willing you can contact TEMA for further information. Stay safe and enjoy the Carnival your way 🌺🌺
