信義房屋，成立於1981年，民國70年，發展至今37年，全省直營，唯一房仲業股票上市公司。
民國79年，大台中第一家分店大雅店在大雅路(現中清路)上落地生根，台中信義展店也在接下來28年間如雨後春筍，時至今日，中區分店已達61家，持續成長中。
太平，地理上緊鄰東區 、 北區 、 北屯區，開發得挺早，人口也挺多，卻被旱溪這條護”市”河給硬生生與”市”隔絕，時屬舊台中市(台中縣)的太平，發展自然與市區無法相提並論，但隨著近年74號快速道路的開通、鐵路高架化、地下道填平、十期新光重劃區的發展，這早期台中人印象中的台中鄉下又熱了起來。
民國93年，太平在地第一間分店東區太平店在精武路開張，民國103年 4月，信義房屋太平樹孝店在樹孝路518號粉墨登場，為信義房屋太平區的第三家分店。
