After the opening of the land market on July 1, the average price ranged from $ 2-3.6 thousand / ha.
In the Kiev region, in the immediate vicinity of the capital (distance 20-30 km), it reached $ 4.5 thousand / ha. According to this indicator, the capital region is ahead of some EU countries. For comparison, in Romania the land costs $ 2.5 thousand / ha, in Lithuania - $ 2.2 thousand / ha, in Latvia - $ 1.4 thousand / ha.
The most expensive plots were offered in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Lviv, Odesa and Zakarpattia regions. The cheapest land is in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, due to its proximity to the front line.According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, from July 1 to 19, inclusive, more than 1,100 contracts for the purchase / sale of agricultural land were concluded.
A total of 1,530 hectares were traded on that date.
Alexander Korobko noted that the agricultural land market is in the process of formation - these prices were announced on the eve of its opening. According to him, only in August it will be possible to talk "about the compliance of prices with existing demand."
