The dollar remains stable on August 5 after rising at the official exchange rate and the interbank market is trading in the region of UAH 26.95-26.97. Demand and supply are in shaky equilibrium. By the end of the week, the dollar may jump to UAH 27.15 and the euro to UAH 32.25.
How did the dollar change in 2021
In July, the hryvnia strengthened against the dollar for the eighth month in a row - from December 2020, and against the euro for the third month in a row - from March 2021.
The dollar fell from UAH 27.18 to UAH 26.89 (-1.1%) over the month, and the euro from UAH 32.30 to UAH 31.92 (-1.2%).
Since the beginning of the year, the dollar has depreciated against the hryvnia by 4.9% and the euro has depreciated by 8.1%.
