Starlink broadband satellite internet from the SpaceX company will start operating in Georgia from 2023. This was announced by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, after a meeting with the representative of SpaceX, Ben McWilliams. According to the minister, the authorities have already issued a permit for the company's activities in Georgia. Davytashvili explained that due to the complicated geography of the country, high-speed Internet is not available in all areas, but thanks to Starlink, all residents will get high-quality access. "This is an important fact for the development of the economy as a whole, including for promoting tourism. In fact, there will be no place in the country without high-quality Internet," the minister emphasized.
