Recently, the Ukrainian army, with the help of American HIMARS, struck the strategically important Kherson bridge over the Dnipro river, destroying the main line of communication of the Russians, through which the supply of weapons and food goes. On November 22, 2021, the IMF board of directors approved the first review of the stand-by program with Ukraine and allocated the second tranche of this program for $700 million. The program was to last until June 2022 inclusive.
