On New Zealand's North Island, the Gisborne Airport is the only one in the world that has a working railway line crossing its main runway. Trains and planes intersect throughout the day and are carefully managed by the air traffic controller who signals for the train to go after the plane has landed. As you might expect, the tracks were already laid down when the runway was built all the way back in 1966, and the two modes of transportation have been in peaceful accident-free coexistence ever since.

In what seems like a poor choice of urban planning, the runway at the Gibraltar Airport intersects with Winston Churchill Avenue, the area's main highway, To its advantage, the runway is quite long but traffic does need to be stopped every time a plane must land or take off. In winter, high winds coming off the mountains also add to the difficulty. The airport has seen a small number of accidents since it opened in 1939, but thankfully, no car has ever been hit by an oncoming plane.

Best colour no doubt. Cyan is a part of my name in Among Us. Nobody guesses cyan/turquoise when I ask what their favourite colour is. The colour is enchanting soothing. The fact it's no.12 on this list is depressing which is the opposite of cyan

Turquoise can either be vivid and exciting, or cool and calm. It's one of the most beautiful natural colors in the world, and even the word is aesthetically pleasing. Imagine, just standing on a balcony with the wind flowing at a calm, yet strong, pace, and all you see is a golden beach kissing the vivid sea, spanning past the horizon. It feels like you're on the edge of spiritual enlightenment...

I feel like turquoise is the calming color. It reminds me that the earth is around us,and the turquoise ocean. Turquoise is a loud color. It screams its name of difference and it's a proud color too. Ever since I was 8 turquoise was kind of a factor of the world to me. Turquoise is also the color of my brothers birth stone. It is a misty color but with a bright twist. Turquoise truly rules!

I don't care if people think that pink is "too girly of a color", it's a beautiful and unique shade that's unlike any other. Pink is a rare color that is not found on the visible light spectrum, so technically speaking it doesn't exist as it's own particular color but as a shade of red. Pink represents femininity, romance, and charm, and it looks especially good on clothing and decor. Besides the bright eye-disconcerting shades, I've never seen a shade of pink that was ugly. Both boys and girls should learn to embrace this color. I hate all the negative stereotypes surrounding it!

Few people call pink a girl color. And I disagree with that. When I was a little boy, I said that pink is my favorite color. And I still don't hate pink even though I love blue a lot. Look, I'm a boy, and I like pink. You don't have to be a girl to consider pink as your favorite color. Boys can also like pink. Ignore people who say pink is a color that only girls can like when you are a boy and like pink the best and this is also the same for purple and magenta. People who call pink, purple, and magenta a color for fairies, princesses, and girly, they are totally wrong. Describing pink, purple, and magenta like that isn't right. Why should you treat a color like that? If you do that you do nothing but bragging the color's appearance. You shouldn't brag the color's appearance and force someone not to like or to like that color just because of their gender. This is literally the best color ever. Pink symbolizes youth, good health, and playfulness. It's the flush of first love and stands for nurturing femininity. Pink or Fuchsia in the bible means right relationship with God. Whenever I say that my favorite color is pink, my sibling laugh and say, "You know that's basically the lighter version of red right"? I know it it, but it's way better than red. Red is a beautiful color, but I just prefer pink. Pink is so underrated. Why is Pink so low? Simply because it's feminine? I mean in my opinion I think the color is super calming and satisfying to look at, there's just something about it that is super soothing to me :). Also not only does this color represent femininity, but it represents love and romance, and that's a beautiful thing! (Except with children)

White is often thought of as plain or boring, due to it's simplicity. However, White is so much more than that- representing the tranquil serenity and emotions of Dreams. Dreams can be the striking white of action and excitement, or the soft Pearl of calmness and contentedness, or the blue-tinted white of curiosity and wonder. White has many different shades, many of which are quite quirky or unusual, just like the strange nature of Dreams.

I love white, it's clear making it look nice and majestic, it's simple, making it easy to find, it's in our every day lives, and goes well anywhere.

White is the color of purity. Brides wear white in many countries, because white symbolizes a virgin. White means kindness. In some cultures white is worn at funerals. White is Monday's color. White daisies are a symbol of loyal love.

White is such a grandiose color it is the one color that can be mixed with another and still remain similar. Say you mix white with blue its still blue just a lighter tint. Mixing any color with black would make it more un recognizable. No one makes black canvases!

Yellow is often thought of as childish, naive or silly, which is not necessarily true. Yellow represents the joys of life, the moments we live for. It's the hope, determination and positivity that gets us through hard times, and the happiness that allows us to have fun. Yellow represents the joys of being human, and the beauty of living.

Yellow is my third favorite color. I just love how bright it is, and I think it looks good on almost anything. I think it's a good color. I don't know why most people don't like yellow. I have a yellow iPhone 11 and a yellow Nintendo Switch Lite.

Yellow is the color in smiley faces. Blue and red are cool, but blue is most used for sad faces and red for mad faces. Green is glad, but yellow is glad, bright, cheerful and happy. Yellow cheers you up when you're sad.

Orange, to me, is one of the most meaningful colours, as it represents the very journey of life. There are so many types of Orange, and so many emotions and so much meaning tied to them. All at once, Orange can be loss, regret, nostalgia, joy, anger and so much more, much like the memories that stay with us our whole lives. Orange is the experiences we have had and the lessons we have learned, that have shaped us into who we are today. The battles we have fought, the challenges we have faced, the joy we have felt, the friends that we have both made and lost. This is all part of the journey of life, which embodied in the meaningful vivid, richness of the colour Orange.

I love the color Orange, I don't know why some people don't like it. I started liking it because it's so bright and wonderful. Basically the same reason someone likes the color blue or the number 7, we just do. I started really liking it when I was younger, even though I was told how much I liked the color when I was a toddler, I'm going to talk about something else. We were talking about favorite colors in school (around 3rd or 2nd grade) EVERYONE was either saying purple , red, blue, and pink. You know, the usual stuff. When it was my turn I said this: "my favorite color is Orange, it's bright, and my eyes like looking at it." I was 8, that is just something I would probably say back then. Why does everyone hate the color Orange? It is my third favorite color! People usually find it as gross or ugly, but I think it is wonderful. After all, Nickelodeon's logo is Orange, and who doesn't love Nickelodeon, right? Without the color Orange, how would your childhood be like? Many people consider Black not a colour, but this fixed view means they don't see the story or meaning of black. The truth is that Black is so much more than dark, empty space. I see a whole story in it. To me, Black represents Determination and Ambition, a reason to persist and not give up. This is because of it's consistent nature and intensity, evoking progress and inner strength. I think of Black as a leader, who is not afraid to be different. Black is the one who tries things first, the one who introduces new concepts, ideas and ways of doing things. Black is brave and strong, always breaking barriers and defying stereotypes. Black is strength and belief, determination and innovation. The story and meaning of the colour Black is anything but empty space.

Black is a good color that sometimes gets bad rap for being "too dark" to be a color, but I beg to differ. Black is honestly a cool color, and I don't know what the world would be like without the color. Many clothes and cars look great with it.

It's not that I'm a goth but black is such a calming, beautiful color to wear and my house's main palette is a black and surprisingly it doesn't make my house look dark. It kind of feels warm and protective. I love wearing all black. But I don't really like goth wear and my taste is pretty feminine. Not girly. But feminine

Purple is serene and harmonizes with every color palette. It pops with yellow. Looks wealthy with gold. Calm with blue. The list goes on.
I didn't always love purple. I used to think it was a fine color. But in 6th grade, I realized how handsome I looked in purple. It brought out the best in me. It was, is, and always will be the best color EVER!
