Kyiv and Lviv are the most popular cities in terms of the number of housing rental requests. Price statistics show that renting in the city of Leva is more expensive than in the capital. The median price of a one-room apartment in Kyiv in February was UAH 9,000 (220 Eur), and in Lviv — UAH 15,500 (400 Eur).
City center
In Kyiv, the closest to the center with such a budget are apartments near the Olimpiyska metro station, Velyka Vasylkivska street. Price: UAH 8,500 (200 Eur). The total area is 34 m², old repairs in the bathroom, but there is a boiler.
There is an apartment in Lviv a few tens of meters from the Town Hall. Price: UAH 7,500. The total area is 16 m². In the description, it was called a "studio apartment", and judging by the photo, the tenant offers to rest, work and cook in the same studio. The place for taking a shower is listed separately, but it appears from the announcement that it needs to be shared with someone else. There is no washing machine.
Surroundings of the city
In Kyiv, analysts chose an apartment in Svyatoshynskyi district, located on Lvivska street. Price: UAH 10,000 (220 Eur). The total area is 36 m². New building, furnished, with air conditioning, boiler and even a dishwasher.
In Lviv, the right apartment was found in the Sykhiv microdistrict, on Sykhivska Street. Price: UAH 10,000. The total area is 45 m². A rather spacious apartment, where a significant part of the square footage is occupied by the bathroom.
Conclusions
Despite the crazy difference in the median rental price between Kyiv and Lviv, if you search, you can find options at moderate prices, but whether the design and comfort of the conditions will appeal to you is a matter of taste.
