Four-Bedroom Staff Home in Western Uganda successfully handed over. It features a clerestory roof with an extended deck and pergola, covering over 112 sqm.

Yesterday, the Easy Housing Kenya team came together for a full strategy day.

Both our front-end and back-end teams sat down for an immersive discussion on the future of sustainable timber housing, then took the conversation to the field. We visited our completed project at Mlango Farm, checked in on our ongoing 4-bedroom Clerestory near Ngecha, and drew inspiration from a truly special place — The Rewildings, a conservation-driven residential development nestled in Tigoni’s historical tea fields and indigenous forests, where natural ecosystems and wildlife are given space to thrive. A powerful reminder of what building in harmony with nature can look like.

We wrapped the day celebrating our colleague’s birthday, a reminder that the people behind the mission matter just as much as the mission itself.

Yesterday, we had an amazing strategy day for Team Uganda, where our front-end and back-end teams came together for a joyful time of reflection on what we’ve accomplished as a team, as well as discussions about the company’s future and growth as we continue to decarbonise and disrupt the building sector in Africa.

We are incredibly proud of our team and happy to see everyone growing in their roles. We can’t wait to build more homes and help address the housing gap in Africa.

Progress update from our 4-bedroom project in Wakiso

Painting and varnishing are done for the exterior, and the house is really starting to come to life. Interior doors installation is ongoing, and the clerestory roof is taking shape with the louvers and glass now being fitted.

We’re also sanding the floors and getting ready to start on the waterproofing in the kitchen soon.

It’s always exciting at this stage, where all the small details begin to define the final look and feel of the home. Can’t wait to share the finished space.

We have officially handed over our first Easy Home in Kenya, to our client at Mlango Farm, a beautiful 2-bedroom home (61 sqm) with an extended deck and pergola.

It’s always amazing to see a project come to life. This is just the beginning for us in Kenya. More homes are coming up.

We are currently at the finishing stage of our 4-bedroom home with a clerestory roof in Wakiso, and it’s exciting to see everything finally coming together, and taking shape.

107sqm to create more space, clerestory roof to bring in more natural light and give a unique look to the home, extended deck to add a nice outdoor area that connects well with the rest of the house, and it’s all coming together nicely.
