The Global Institute of Property Studies (GIPS) students recently participated in an experiential learning excursion to Acorn Investment in Kenya, acquiring in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge, purpose-built student housing models.
This burgeoning sector is demonstrating resilience and growth globally, leveraging opportunities in investment and development. In Uganda, however, it remains predominantly driven by private micro-investors. The visit facilitated a comprehensive analysis of industry trends, best practices, and innovative solutions, thereby enhancing students' understanding of the sector's potential for expansion and development.
Kudos to GIPS for equipping students with practical skills and hands-on experience, setting them up for success in the competitive real estate industry. Their commitment to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry practice is truly commendable.
