The Government of Uganda is rolling out a comprehensive digital land registry to improve how land is recorded, managed, and protected across the country. 🇺🇬

- The system will create a clear digital record of government land, helping to curb encroachment and land grabbing.
- It aims to reduce land disputes, fraud, and overlapping ownership claims
- The registry will support better planning, transparency, and accountability in land administration
- It will also help government improve revenue collection from land leases and ground rent

This move is expected to strengthen investor confidence and bring order to one of Uganda’s most sensitive sectors - land.
