Diane Rwigara's hopes of contesting for presidency hit a stambling block as opponents release her n**e pictures just days after she declared her intention to stand against Paul Kagame. The 35-year-old daughter of a tycoon who once bankrolled the ruling Rwandan Patriotic Front said Wednesday she plans to run as an independent candidate against President Paul Kagame in August's elections.

"Everybody is scared to express themselves because they are too scared of the ruling party," said Diane Rwigara, pledging to tackle poverty, injustice and security problems.

Rwigara distanced herself from the FPR after the death of her father, Assinapol Rwigara, in 2015. She says her father's death was an assassination, but police reject her allegations and say the cause was a road accident.

Today Capital Radio sends off Alexander Ndawula (Alex) into retirement. There is a party organised for their longest serving employee at Capital Radio gardens outside their premises.

For the last three weeks Alex has been off air. His programs Dance Force (Saturday 8pm until late) and Sundowner (6pm to 7pm) have just been playing music.

To prevent him from going to another station, which would be a publicity scoop for such a station, the management has given him permission and a retainer to keep coming to the station until NSSF clears his savings which will probably be done by January next year. This sounds good but it has a hiden agenda behind it. Between now and January next year, if Alex stays off air his arrival at another station(if he ever switches) will not yield much publicity the way it would if he went immediately now after going off air.

So,Capital is sending him off but reserved because they fear his impact at another station.

If you love Alex, please send him off with a welwishing messege in your comment.

Davies Kaboggoza son to the late Ssonko "kyapa mbalasi" of Natete drowned while riding on a speed boat in America.

His body was found at the bottom of the Santa Barbara Harbor seafloor early Saturday evening. According to the Santa Barbara City Fire Department, the man was 30-years old and from Uganda.

Authorities say around 4:15 Saturday afternoon the fire department and Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol responded to a water rescue after a paddle boarder reportedly fell off his board and did not reemerge from the water.

According to the Santa Barbara City Fire Department, four fire engines, one ladder truck and a battalion chief to Stearns Wharf. From there, the department had five water rescue swimmers join the harbor patrol swimmers who were already in the water.

Those swimmers would dive to the bottom of the ocean floor, searching for the victim, before coming back to the surface. Authorities say the swimmers searched for 40 minutes before a United States Coast Guard helicopter from Point Mugu and a boat from the Channel Islands also responded to assist with the search.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Dive team was also nearby for re-certification training and transferred to the Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol boat to also assist with the search. After the SLO County Sheriff's dive team transferred to the Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol boat, the Sheriff dive team collectively responded to the harbor. After the dive team was taken to the last known location where the victim was seen, within minutes the victims' remains were found at the bottom of the harbor floor. It is not clear if the victim was wearing a life vest.

Kaboggoza was a grandson of Canon Ddungu
