After screening hundreds of tenants in Grays Harbor, here are the 3 red flags most landlords miss until it's too late. 🚩

They rarely show up on paper. They show up in the little things — and by the time most landlords notice, the lease is already signed.

1️⃣ Urgency without a reason. "I need to move in this week" can be legit — but when there's no story behind the rush, slow down and ask why.
2️⃣ Reluctant references. Good tenants happily connect you with past landlords. Foot-dragging, or being steered toward one specific "friend," is telling you something.
3️⃣ An income story that doesn't add up. When what they say doesn't match what the documents show, trust the documents.

None of these are dealbreakers alone. Together, they're the difference between a tenant who pays on time for years and one who costs you months.
