Abileniens be in their ✨new build era✨ with this housing market…
We all know Abilene is in a rental crisis. Everyone is investing in the local area from all over the country.
Many buyers are being bought out by syndicates and companies capitalizing on the growth here.
So how do you make it happen as a first time homebuyer? Well, many are choosing new builds.
New build inventory is being eaten up very quickly. However, some of my clients are renting for six months and staying on the waitlist for homes closing later this year and early next year.
This morning, I was at the DR Horton model home with two of the sales reps and friends of mine.
Good news is that DR Horton is currently in the works to purchase some more land for more developments. Those homes I would imagine won’t go up until later next year, but who knows.
To my understanding, there is no official information on those quite yet, but as more information comes out, I’ll be sure to share.
DR Horton homes have become much of more doable option for homeowners because they come with many options and additions, to include packages with appliances to be included with the home, as well as paying for closing costs, not to mention an extra credit for military buyers! 🇺🇸🙌🏻
I’ve closed many of them and I can say I’m beyond grateful for the effort put in to not only the homes, but the process. Whether that be meeting with the buyers, answering any first timer questions, providing construction updates, or being thorough in the blue tape Inspections.
All that goes to say, I support DR Horton… and have many success stories. If you’re looking to buy in the area within the next two years, I urge you to consider them as an option, well… new construction as a whole. 💪🏼
If you decide you want to pull the trigger, you know who to call!🫶🏼
