Continental villa - Electrician is about to replace wires that disconnected at the AEP box. He will have to cut power while replacing the line but said it shouldn’t be long. Homes that may effect would be 62-75 and 60-46

Company that is working on replacing our gas line, Hit a main water line in the park and will be repairing it ASAP.

Finally good news....

Gas company received full permission from city/atmos to install new gas lines around the property. The contractor will plan to start April 5th and said it could possible take 6-8 weeks with using 8 of their employees. He did say he will try to turn sections on as he goes...

If you need a place to shower or cook please come to the office for details

Updating as we get information

Per the contractor, there is a leak under ground and to repair the leak it won’t be a quick fix. They said we either must run new new lines (if allowed on the Easement) or digging until finding the leak

They did say the best way to do this. Is putting the home all electric. We have to see what all Abilene stores have in stock and order the rest. We will be installing as them come in.

We are deeply sorry this is happening and wish there was a quick fix.

We understand if this doesn’t work for you, and if it wont please come to the office so we can discuss the options.

Atmos is repairing their meter and one of their line. But to do that they are turning off the gas at the main meter. As soon as they are done they will let us know so we can come check each home that has gas. If any questions please call our office 692-5006

To help us out and to make things go faster - Please turn off your Gas heaters, and please dont use anything that has gas because it will take longer on our side

5:30pm VFW is opening for all CV and MR residents.

Abilene Fire Departments crews are responding to wildfire west of Abilene near Old Highway 80 and the flyover bridge to enter Interstate 20 near Tye.
