Tips to Beat the Heat!!!!!!!!
• Change your AC filters! We have them for free in the office! If your filter is dirty your ac will blow luke warm air!
• Turn off your lights! Each TV and lamps left on is a heat source!
• Set your thermostat and forget it! Keep the setting on ‘auto’
• Never Turn off your unit. The amount of time for the unit to regulate the apartment takes about 24 hours.
• Shut the blinds and close the curtains! Hang the darkest color you can find!
• Turn off the oven! Only use it if you must! Use our Grills by the pool!
• Turn on your fans and leave them on! Circulation helps!
• Keep doors open. This also helps with Circulation!
• Check your outside unit to make sure grass is not grown around it!
• And lastly and the most important….Water Water Water Water Water! Drink even when you’re not thirsty!

We had a splashing good time!! We ate 75 hot dogs and floated on a swan!! We LOVE our Residents!

Breakfast on the Go was so much fun!! We handed out a total of 60 breakfast bags which had a banana, an apple or orange and a sausage biscuit! Not only do we love our residents, we love our Abilene community and wanted to treat the ones in need! We brought 15 breakfast bags to share at Salvation Army! Thank you Bent Tree Team for helping make this event so awesome! And a huge thank you to Burger King staff on Antilley Road this morning for getting the sausage biscuit's ready for us!!
