This is from me, not AI.
This year has been such a weird one for me, honestly. The last two years in real estate looked almost identical, so I guess I got comfortable thinking 2026 would just keep rolling the same way. But this year had other plans.
Up until now, I had only closed 2 transactions while it felt like the rest of Abilene was absolutely on fire...deals closing left and right, multiple offers everywhere, and out of state investors scooping things up nonstop. At first, I was confused, frustrated, and honestly questioning myself a little.
Then I finally stopped fighting it. I slowed down, started reading more, enjoyed life a little, and just trusted that things would work themselves out.
Then May said, "Hold my beer." Over $6.5 million in contracts.
Just a reminder that sometimes seasons are quiet for a reason, and sometimes the momentum comes back all at once when you least expect it. So, just enjoy life and treat your people right, it will all work out!β€οΈπŸ’™
