🍔🎱 GRAHAM BURGER TOUR — STOP #2! 🎱🍔

Katy Morris and I are back at it, trying some of the places YOU recommended when I asked where to find the best burger in Graham!

Today’s stop was Burgers & Billiards — better known around town as BnB!

BnB is so much more than a place to grab a burger. It’s one of those hometown spots where people come to eat, visit, play a game of pool or hit the arcade. And with a menu full of different options, there’s a little something for everyone.

But one of my favorite parts of doing this series is getting to know the people and stories behind our local businesses. ❤️

Today we had the opportunity to visit with owner Greg Cotter, and we loved hearing him talk about his faith and how he sees his business as more than just a business — it’s also his ministry. Greg shared that he hopes each day he has the opportunity to share Christ with at least one person who walks through the doors. ✝️❤️

Here’s a little of the BnB story in Greg’s own words:

“BnB was established in April 2004 by Lloyd and Lisha South, ran by the famous Chub and Buckets for many years, and my wife Valarie and I purchased it in August 2014. We ran the business with my son Michael, who was 17, and daughter Jessica, who was 15 at the time! We have grown the business and now have a staff of 19. We look forward to serving and sharing Christ with our community for years to come!!”

Greg and Valarie also own K&N and Ruthie’s, two more popular Graham eateries you probably already know and love!

And of course, we came for the BURGER… 🍔😋and….
It did not disappoint!

I’m really enjoying getting to experience some of Graham’s favorite places while learning more about the families and stories behind them. This is what makes small-town Graham, Texas so special. ❤️

Well that was fast!! These sellers reached out to me a few weeks ago. We met, I gave them several recommendations to do in order to get their home market ready and to move quickly! They aced it!! With their willingness to listen to advice, follow through, and with good marketing.. BOOM!!

🍔 🩷The Graham Burger Tour has officially begun! 🍔

Last week I asked y’all where to find the BEST burger in Graham, Texas… and you gave us some great places to try!

So today, Katy Morris and I made our first stop — Thriftway! ⛽️🍔

Now, if you haven’t had a burger from the little deli inside Thriftway, you may be missing out. That burger was AMAZING! 😋 Fresh, hot, made to order, and definitely not your typical gas station burger!

But what I loved even more was learning a little about the history behind this Graham staple. ❤️

One of the owners, Shirley McPherson shared this with me:

“The store has been owned by our family since 1979. It’s still locally owned by my brother, Charlie Ratcliffe, and me. Our deli has been serving breakfast and lunch for over 30 years. We purchase locally sourced beef and make our burgers fresh at the time of each customer’s order.

When my dad started offering lunch and breakfast items, he made sure that our quality of food was something he could be proud to serve. He never wanted it to be something someone could get at a typical fast food restaurant.

As a company, my dad always made it a priority to make sure our customers felt welcomed and valued, and I believe that’s something we still do today. Our staff knows our customers by name and makes an effort to treat them more like neighbors than customers.

We offer a small hometown environment that is difficult to find in today’s society.”

And THAT is exactly the kind of thing I love about Graham, Texas. ❤️ Small businesses, family traditions, locally sourced beef, and people who still know their customers by name.
