Just finished up this set of stone stairs in Willow.
The client asked for river stone, to mimic the columns supporting the porch. Tbey are so happy with the results, that they’ve asked to rebuild the front steps in the spring.

-185’ 2”x4”x72” coated wire weld fencing
-Almost 7 cu yds of soil, peat, compost, mushroom compost, aged manure, vermicompost and BioChar

A little bit of progress on this built in. This one’s ready for paint, but there’s still another to be built.
With so much variation in the floors and walls of this old Colonial have created some unique challenges.

Sure, there are faster, easier ways. Faster and easier isn’t always better. There’s something to be said for felling a tree, milling the lumber, and flattening the boards. By hand.
