ACTON SCUBA SERVICES Motion Picture Water Stage 15 Ft. Deep marine coordinating water safety and support

Acton Scuba utilized ranch property to build the perfect site for your underwater sequence. Located near the Santa Clarita Valley in Acton, the site is conveniently close to Los Angeles metropolitan areas. This film tank was designed to afford not only ample surface space at 42 feet long and 24 feet wide, but also incorporates a natural undulating slope of gray tones in the deep 16 ft end that sim

ulates the ocean or lake floor. Recessed tie-downs are built into the walls and bottom for equipment restraint and green screens. The area around the tank is a spacious open deck which can facilitate surface generators, cranes or other necessary support equipment. Being on private ranch property, there is ample parking for your crew and support vehicles at no extra charge. The facility also has highly qualified technical support staff (IATSE Local 80) for your lifeguard and rescue-swimmer or training needs. In the adjacent building is a high-pressure air compressor system for air supply, scuba cylinders and underwater communications system. Upon request, underwater cameras with housings can be provided with operations staff in either film or digital and high-definition video formats.
