Texas Western Hospitality A seasoned developer, Gene’s been an owner and operator in the hospitality industry for more than 45 years. He also developed several key properties for Ramada.

Texas Western Hospitality is the management arm of Western International, a vertically integrated lodging company with over 30 years of successful history in hotel development and operations. Fueled by a near ridiculous passion for the industry, Gene founded Western International in the mid-1960s, launching a successful independent chain of hotels in the Pacific Northwest. Then in the ’90s, he began working exclusively with Hilton and Marriott. In 2002, Gene founded Texas Western Hospitality, focusing on hotel management and operations. Today, Western International has helped develop more than 130 hotels, and Texas Western Hospitality operates more than 35 properties under the Hilton, Marriott, and IHG brands. And, we’re growing faster than ever. That’s because that same passion for hospitality that drove Gene throughout the years is alive and well in all of our associates.
