The home was built by Aaron Comfort. He arrived in Tecumseh on May 16, 1840 and he died at his home on November 28, 1852. The construction enjoys balloon framing. Lightning impacted the home and because of a fire in 2002, it took one year to rebuild. The detail of the reconstruction is fabulous. The plasterer came from Traverse City! All rooms are good sized. Nice rebuilt elevated deck; circular asphalt drive; fenced in rear yard. Detached 2.0 car garage and dog kennel. The residence sits on a corner lot and comprises 1.06 acres. Volume ceilings throughout and some are coved.
Seller will give $7,000 flooring allowance for any offer that moves to close.
