If you can’t find artwork, find a print you like and frame it. It’s hard to find artwork on this island, so I found a couple of prints off of Etsy and framed it. Love how this simple, minimalist artwork just finishes the space.

It’s been a little over a year since we went on vacation & just took time to pause so I wanted to keep my posts minimal. It was hard not to share all the beautiful places but I wanted to be present as much as possible with the people I love, sleep in late (when my 3 yr old let me), stay up late, eat some good food, see new places, have new experiences, but just spend time with family & relax. I’m always inspired by mompreneurs & how they balance family, business, & their faith. For me, these vacays are a part of the balance.

We love a home with charm & in Hawaii you can always find one tucked in a neighborhood. This cute 4 bedroom, 2 bath home in Aiea has character & charm with a rental unit on the side. We stage to home this place with a modern coastal style & a little boho. TIP: If you ever want to add character to a space without breaking the budget, find something unique in your home. We had this broken ukulele and just turned it around to add some character, or this $3 Hawaiian fan. We invest in the big pieces, & add character with the little. I’m obsessed with baskets. It just brings an element of warmth & character to a space, and it’s in trend right now so there everywhere. This little one was thrift find for $2.99. If your looking to add to a space without going over budget. Baskets are a great way! This condo was a soft stage. We just decorated & styled with accessories. When we stage, we base it on 4 things. 1) architecture (both interior & exterior) 2) demographics of community (family home, young adults, etc.) 3) layout of the home (in Hawaii it can be challenging) 4) practicality (purposeful furniture). Our job is to help the future owner envision themselves living in the home, and create an emotional connection. That is why Staging can make all the difference in how fast a property sells & the sale price of the property.

I’m so blessed to have my family be a part of my business. Everyone thinks staging is like decorating, & it’s so much fun.
