What’s happening in Aiken!!

I remember being a new hire at UPS when 9/11 happened.

Our manager pulled a television into the middle of our workspace, and we all gathered around it. In that moment, the world around us seemed to stop. Work stopped. Conversations stopped. Everything that had seemed important just moments before no longer mattered.

The only thing that mattered was what we were watching on that television screen.

I remember the people who were there with me that day. We were the first two new-hire classes, still getting to know one another, but that day changed us.

We cried together.
We hugged each other.
We talked about life, family, and the importance of appreciating the moments we are given.

More than two decades later, I can still remember that room. I can still remember those faces. And I can still remember the feeling.

9/11 is etched into each of us.

Today, we honor the lives that were lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, the survivors, and every person whose life was impacted by that day.

We also remember the bonds that were created—the compassion, unity, and humanity that became woven into the fabric of America.

May we never forget the lives.
May we never forget the sacrifice.
May we never forget how we came together.

🏡 WHAT DID I DO IN REAL ESTATE TODAY??

Whew…let’s talk about it! 😂

First of all—IT’S THE 1ST OF THE MONTH! And if you know property management, you already know what that means! 💰🏠

But here's the exciting part...

🔥 BTR Property Management is GROWING!
We added FIVE NEW PROPERTIES last month! 🙌🏾

And the rest of today looked a little something like this...

✅ Closed on an investment property! 🎉🔑

✅ Worked on TWO short sales that are currently giving me HE-double-hockey-sticks! 😩😂 But we're going to get them across the finish line!

✅ Checked in on the NEW BUILD we have planned to break ground on in the next couple of months. 🏗️🏡

✅ Held our sales meeting with the BTR agents—because the business doesn't grow unless the people grow.

✅ Sent updates on a land deal involving USDA Direct. 🌳

✅ Finalized our October Agent Retreat! And YES…BTR is hitting the road! 🚗💨🙌🏾

And after ALL of that...

🐶 I relaxed by washing the dogs because these DOG DAYS OF SUMMER are wearing them OUT! 😂☀️

Some days in real estate are closings and celebrations. Some days are negotiations, problems, phone calls, property management and putting out fires.

And then there are days like TODAY when it's ALL OF IT AT ONCE!

But through every bit of this beautiful chaos, I'm taking these blessings in stride while singing at the TOP OF MY LUNGS...

Because when I look around at the deals, the agents, the new properties, the growth, the opportunities and YES—even the challenges—I don't take any of it for granted.

Busy? ABSOLUTELY.
Growing? DEFINITELY.
Blessed? BEYOND MEASURE. 🙌🏾

And tomorrow…we get up and do it again!
