If I were buying right now, I wouldn’t confuse low inventory with urgency. Supply is tight. Rates aren’t cheap. That means every decision carries weight.

Here’s what I would not do:
• I wouldn’t stretch my payment assuming rates will “definitely” drop.
• I wouldn’t waive protections just because there are fewer options.
• I wouldn’t buy something I don’t actually love just to feel like I secured a house.
