I enjoy helping the packing of the backpacks as we know children will food over the weekends.

The Junior League of Akron is impacting the lives of so many school-aged kids in the community. Thanks to our partnership with Blessings in a Backpack, we are able to address child hunger and food insecurity among students in Akron Public Schools who rely on school meals during the week but have little to no food to eat on the weekend.

Countertops are a long term investment and something buyers take into consideration when viewing homes. Well-maintained countertops that won’t need replacing in the near future are very appealing!

My tips for quartz or granite countertops:

✅ Go easy on them! Avoid cleaners with harsh chemicals and stick to a mild cleaner or soap and water for daily cleaning.

✅ Pay attention to daily use. Setting hot pans or pots on your countertops or cutting produce without a cutting board are big nos!
