Yes, a home is an ultimate investment but there are not so little things you need to invest in to get there.

Such as an inspection! I never recommend waiving an inspection as they can end up saving you TONS of money on repairs you would’ve had to make after closing.

Your time and money are valuable. I know that and can help you determine if a home is worth it for your situation.

Treat an inspection like an investment! 🏡

If you’re about to start home shopping then it’s time to get that pre approval. You don’t always have to go with the first lender you speak with.
Here are some things to think about before you make that call…

•Shop your local banks and lenders. You can call your bank and also ask your real estate agent for local lenders that they have worked with.
•Make sure they are easy to reach and will return phone calls. There is nothing worse than needing to talk to your lender and not being able to reach them.
•Ask about rates, loan terms, down payment requirements, mortgage insurance, closing cost and lender fees. Your mortgage rate will likely be the same wherever you go because that is based off of your credit score but you can save money in fees and terms.
•Compare your options and choose the one that fits your needs. You get to decide who you work with.
