What an amazing day in the community! 💙🏡✨

I had the absolute BEST time today attending the Homeownership Block Party at Shadowbrook with my granddaughter — my little Real Estate princess 👑 — and fellow members of the Birmingham Realtist Association!

From the music and light refreshments to the powerful connections being made, this event was truly a beautiful example of what happens when a community comes together with purpose. It was so inspiring to see residents, partners, and local leaders engaging, sharing resources, and building relationships in such a welcoming and uplifting environment.

Events like this remind me why I’m so passionate about what we do. Homeownership is more than just buying a house — it’s about building legacy, strengthening neighborhoods, and creating opportunities for generations to come. And to experience that alongside my granddaughter made it even more special 💕

This is just one of the many impactful events taking place during Community Development Week with the City of Birmingham’s Community Development Office — a powerful celebration of the progress and possibilities shaping our neighborhoods. The work being done across housing, public services, and community investment is creating REAL change, and I’m honored to be a part of it.

There’s something about the Alabama Gulf Coast that just fills your cup in the best way 💙☀️
I recently spent 5 amazing days soaking in the beauty of Fort Morgan Beach, Alabama and Gulf Shores, and it was everything I didn’t even know I needed. From the peaceful sound of the waves to the warmth of the sun, it was truly a reset for my mind, body, and spirit.
One of my favorite parts was those early morning walks on the beach with my mom… just talking, reflecting, and enjoying God’s creation. Moments like that are priceless.
And of course, the BEST part… making memories with my kids and grandkids 🥰
We laughed, we played, we built sandcastles, and made memories that will last a lifetime. From swimming and pickleball competitions to just enjoying each other’s presence—it was pure joy.
We also had an absolute blast at OWA Theme Park & Water Park in Foley 🎢💦 Talk about FUN for all ages! I rode some great water slides and roller coasters.
And you know I couldn’t help myself… I definitely took some time to check out the beautiful beachfront real estate and motorhome development communities 👀🏖️
Shoutout to the GSP at Fort Morgan for having everything we needed right onsite—including my new favorite coffee and smoothie spot, Selah ☕🍓
This Spring Break trip was truly what the doctor ordered:
✨ Rest
✨ Relaxation
✨ Quality Time with Family
My heart is full, my mind is refreshed, and I’m so grateful for these moments ❤️
