On January 30th and February 2nd, 2024, Alameda Senior Transistions and Sensational Seniors Workshops togehter gave a presentation to Mastick Senior Center here in Alameda. The seminat was repeated on both days. The title was "Smart Sizing: A Guide to Efficient Downsizing". A large audience was in attendance for both days. The program is a culmination of the Alameda Senior Transitions to bring information and education to the demographic we serve. The goal is to present three more presentations throughout the year. The next one will be held on April 23rd,, 2024 also at Mastick Senior Center at 12:30 pm. The topic is :Stay Put,Stay Happy: Thriving While Aging in Place. The presenters will be Alisa Hoffman of Desing , Set Match, Cherly Mc Carthy Reverse Mortgage Adviser Mutual of Omaha and Veranica Sibley of Senior Alternatives. Topics will cover home design modifications, smart financial planning for seniors needs and accomodations for health issues to stay in your home.
