🌊 Join Us for the 40th Annual Coastal Clean Up Day in Alameda!

Be part of a statewide effort to clean up our beaches, bays, and waterways. In Alameda, we’re focusing on Crown Memorial State Beach to remove trash and plastic pollution.

Happy New Year!

We are so excited about our January speaker, Allen Tai, Director of the City of Alameda’s Planning, Building, and Transportation (PBT) Department.
Allen will discuss what PBT’s plans are over the next year, which include implementing the new Housing Element, refreshing the Climate Action and Resiliency Plan, and continuing to plan for an estuary water shuttle and a future bridge crossing.

Allen Tai has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from San José State University.

He is a certified city planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners and a LEED Accredited Professional.
