𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 ✨
Our Mentor Monday feature this week is 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐳, entrepreneur, business owner, and co-founder of Future Real Estate.
𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧’s journey into entrepreneurship didn’t begin with a perfectly mapped-out plan. After working in the service industry and outdoor recreation, he found his way into real estate and eventually started Future Real Estate alongside his wife, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞. Together, they have grown Future Real Estate and 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬, with their real estate team closing more than $1.3 billion in sales over the past 10 years.
But for 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧, that number is less about the sales and more about the people behind them. He credits much of their success to building a team of people who care about their clients, work hard, and genuinely want to be great at what they do.
His entrepreneurial spirit has also led him into real estate investing, development, Mountain Monthly, and most recently, Wooten Spring Park, a project he and friends are developing in the Sacramento Mountains. Whether exploring new technology, experimenting with AI and automation, or dreaming up his next business idea, 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 is always looking for ways to make things better.
𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧’𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝:
“You’re allowed a thousand bad ideas to get to one good one.”
He believes that getting everything right the first time matters far less than being willing to try, learn quickly, and change direction when something isn’t working.
𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:
“Work hard, contribute, be honest, do good things, and you’ll enjoy a good life. And don’t get so focused on building a career that you forget to build a life.”
• For 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧, his greatest accomplishment isn’t a business or sales number - it’s building a life and family with 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 and their two children. He believes the best relationships, whether in family, friendship, or business, are the ones where people make each other better.
𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞:
“Raise your expectations.”
It may be the Future Real Estate tagline, but for 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧, it represents something bigger: 𝐢𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞.
𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 believe that when a community supports your business, you have a responsibility to support that community in return. Through sponsorships, donations, local organizations, events, and investments like Wooten Spring Park, they continue to put that belief into action.
𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧’s approach to community and business can be summed up pretty simply: 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.
Thank you, 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧, for investing in Southern New Mexico, challenging others to think bigger, and showing that success isn’t just about what you build - it’s also about the people, relationships, and community you build along the way. 🌱
