I had a first tonight. Most of the time you hear all of the good stuff about showing homes and most of the times everything is great. Tonight I was going to show a house and in the showing instructions, it gave the instructions for turning off the security alarm. Well, the number was incorrect and the alarm sounded. And it was loud!!!!! I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so I tried calling the listing agent. She didn’t answer so I tried calling the fire chief (my brother-in-law) to see if he knew how. He didn’t. Then all of a sudden it stopped!!!! Whew, thanks be to God. Then I opened up the door to the three season porch and there goes the alarm again. 🤯😵‍💫. By that time, the listing agent had called and told me how to turn it off. Then I said to the buyers, we should be expecting the cops pretty soon and just like that, they were there. I explained what I was doing, he ran my license and the rest went well. The buyers were very impressed that the officer was there within a minute and a half. 😁👮🏻‍♂️🚓🚨

And after all of that, I expect to write an offer on it in the morning. Every day brings us new challenges, smile and make the most of it. 🙏🏻🏘️🏡
