Kate Gurley-Steele is a full-time real estate agent licensed in the State of Oregon who helps her clients buy and sell properties between Portland, Eugene, Bend, Newport and the surrounding areas in the beautiful Mid-Willamette Valley. Kate specializes in helping her clients buy and sell residential, bare land, agricultural, hobby farms and multi-family properties. Kate grew up on a small traditio

nal farm outside of Molalla focusing mainly of raising beef cows, she eventually transitioned her interests to dairy farming. For the last 8 years she has been managing a small locally owned dairy farm, overseeing day to day operations and sales. Kate was active in the FFA beginning in 8th grade and followed through as a collegiate member while she was earning her degree in Agricultural Business from Oregon State University (GO BEAVERS). Throughout her participation in the FFA, she honed her natural leadership skills and ignited her love of learning. During this time, she polished her skills in public speaking, agricultural operations, leadership, and teamwork. This instrumental time in her life has been invaluable when applied to her business. Kate has a deep understanding of farm operations and the ability to be competitive in a positive way and she becomes genuinely invested in the clients that she helps. The foundation of Kate’s business is integrity and communication. She puts emphasis on developing genuine relationships built on trust because she wants to be a resource to her clients for every milestone in their real estate journey. Studying the real estate market from a statewide perspective, trickling down to the individual local markets is a daily practice. Understanding the real estate market is critical in successfully pricing homes for both buying and selling. Her passion is helping her clients organize their needs and thoughts for every stage of their lives.
