May being Small Business Month is a reminder of just how important community and collaboration truly are.

To celebrate, we partnered with Bankston Law Firm & Good Deeds Title Co. to bring together several local business owners from across our community in support of the launch of the new Living In Parish Magazine. It was a great afternoon spent enjoying coffee from chespresscoffeecart connecting with other entrepreneurs who are working hard every day to make a difference right here in our backyard.

We heard all about a beautiful new venue Oak Court which is located right down the road where we can host community and corporate events starting in August! Barksdale Leadership Solutions always shares insightful ways to help us grow and succeed. Last but not least, our hometown serial entrepreneur, John Ponder, with Site Pro Construction shared a few exciting projects coming to Albany!

As small business owners, life moves fast. Between serving customers, managing employees, and handling the day-to-day operations, we don’t always get the opportunity to slow down, sit together, and build relationships with one another. But honestly, those relationships are one of the most valuable parts of being a small business owner. When local businesses support each other, the entire community benefits.

We’re thankful to be surrounded by so many hardworking people who continue investing in Livingston Parish and cheering each other on along the way. Here’s to continuing to build relationships, create opportunities, and grow together.

Yesterday afternoon we were proud to be 1 of more than 100 vendors at the LP Expo. It absolutely did not disappoint!

The energy inside the event center was incredible from start to finish. It was amazing seeing so many businesses and community members come out to make this event such a success.

Livingston Parish showed up in a BIG way yesterday! Looking forward to next year.
