I’ve seen Albany homeowners spend $80k on a new pool and wonder why that didn’t add the same amount when they went to sell it.

Inspired by the greatest rom-com of our time— most people entering a real estate transaction already know the basics.

But there are a few that catch people off guard...
- Opening a new credit card or furnishing your new living room before closing can actually flag your loan and put the whole deal at risk.
- A job change, even a good one, can do the same thing.
- Going in with a low offer “just to see” often just signals to the seller that you’re not serious.
