Fall Home Maintenance Checklist 🍂

Happy first day of fall! 🍁 There’s something about the changing leaves, cooler mornings, and cozy evenings that makes this season feel like the perfect time to get your home ready for what’s ahead. A little home upkeep now can help prevent bigger surprises when winter arrives.

Here’s your go-to checklist:

✅ Exterior Maintenance
Clean gutters and downspouts
Inspect roof for damage, missing shingles, or leaks
Check exterior caulking and seals around windows and doors
Trim trees and branches away from the home
Inspect siding and paint for areas needing attention
Clear leaves and debris away from the foundation

✅ Heating & Systems Check
Schedule your annual HVAC or furnace inspection
Test your heating system before colder weather arrives
Check your thermostat for proper operation
Inspect fireplace and chimney if applicable
Make sure vents and registers are clear and unobstructed

✅ Interior Maintenance

"We are beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to work with The Beem Team, LLC, eXp Realty in Albany, Oregon, and especially with Chloe Cregor.

Our home sale definitely did not go quite as planned. We encountered some pretty crazy and unexpected circumstances with our first buyer, and through every twist, turn, setback, and stressful moment, Chloe was right there beside us. She truly went above and beyond in every way possible to help us navigate the process, keep things moving forward, and ultimately get our home sold.

On top of everything involved with the sale itself, we were also facing an incredible amount of downsizing in order to make this move happen.
