NYSAR encourages comments and participation on our page, and we will do our best to address questions from NYSAR members. However, there are certain kinds of questions and comments which NYSAR believes are inappropriate f
or this forum. The following types of comments will be deleted by our moderators:
• Advertisements or sharing of listed properties.
• Advertisements promoting products or services.
• Comments asking questions of a legal nature. All legal questions must be made to the NYSAR Legal Hotline Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at 518-436-9727.
• Comments addressing specific real estate transactions or REALTORS®. NYSAR members should call NYSAR’s Legal Hotline to speak with an attorney to discuss these topics.
• Comments which include profane, racist, or otherwise inappropriate and unprofessional language.
• Comments that discuss commissions or other matters that may have anti-trust/anti-competitive implications. NYSAR may also choose to permanently ban users who post any of the above types of prohibited comments. Furthermore, NYSAR reserves the right to initiate a formal disciplinary action against any members whose comments may violate NAR’s Code of Ethics or NYSAR’s harassment policy. By establishing these basic guidelines, NYSAR seeks to ensure that this forum remains professional, pleasant and useful for the benefit of our members.
