Nothing more enjoyable than a nice summer afternoon conducting a post burn inspection in , especially when you're accompanied by two beautiful southern belles. Joy Hatfield Matre and Marlee Matre tagged along with me on this post burn inspection, which was the 3rd step in a conducted property transformation. Step 1: select thinning of unmanaged mature natural and planted pine. Step 2: understory selective herbicide treatment. Step 3: Prescribed burn.

Oh yeah, I forgot Step 4: enjoy, and get ready for the best hunting season ever 😃😎 🦌 🦃 (couldn't find a quail emoji)

Ballers gonna win, even under immense pressure. I had a land deal go south yesterday, but with calm and cool composure I made a few calls, texts, and emails to the parties involved and got the train back on the track like it wasn't nothing but a thing. That's what you need on your side when selling, buying, or managing land.

Reminds me of back in the peak of my storied bball career, in the famed DWS Junior Pro Leage , when I sank two crucial free throws to ice a game. After the game, a teammate's dad walked up and said, "Little Maich, you must have ice water flowin' through them veins" 🧊 I said "Yes sir, I do" 💯
