American Council of Engineering Companies of New York ACEC New York is a proactive coalition of nearly 300 firms representing every discipline of engineering related to the built environment.

Historically, ACEC New York's member firms have been responsible for New York's most notable and innovative projects, including bridges, airports, tunnels, planetariums, highways, stadiums and world's fairs. Today, ACEC New York represents nearly 300 member firms who engage in every discipline of engineering related to the built environment including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, envi

ronmental, and geotechnical. We are a diverse group of consulting engineering firms from across New York State, ranging from sole proprietors to multinational corporations that collectively employ about 33,000 New Yorkers and nearly ten times that number worldwide. Our shared goals are to further the business interests of our membership, enhance the quality and safety of the environment we live and work in, and help ensure the vitality of our communities. ACEC New York is dedicated to all aspects of consulting engineering, and this page is dedicated to promoting our mission. We want to keep this discussion as relevant and dynamic is possible, so below are a few rules to remember before you post:

1. Discussions should relate to the consulting engineering industry, including issues such as QBS, or relate to business, such as discussions on management techniques.

2. All posts are subject to approval by ACEC New York, and all conversations are moderated. This is to foster the exchange of information with a minimum of non-related content.

3. Any posts deemed to be a solicitation will be deleted, and repeat offenders will be banned from the page. If you are interested in reaching our membership, please visit our website for sponsorship opportunities.

4. ACEC New York does not allow for job recruiting through their communications channels.

5. No offensive language or inappropriate remarks will be tolerated. Posts will be deleted, and offenders may be removed from the group. These rules will allow for a focused discussion on real issues related to the built environment in New York State. We look forward to sharing ideas with our members, and if you have any questions, please visit our website.
