This was the perfect way to start teacher appreciation week. Flowers and encouraging notes for my wall from a student I had when she was in first grade. It’s the little things that matter! The tacos, tamarind water, and jamaica from PTO for lunch were great too!

Montgomery County Schools needs your help!!

End-of-year testing is quickly approaching, and we are looking for proctors to help support our schools with testing.

Who can be a proctor? Great Question!
Proctors should be responsible community members who are age 18 or older and not enrolled as a student in the K-12 school system.

Proctors are usually needed for about 1/2 of the day on test days.

What advice would you give potential NC homebuyers?

1️⃣ Don’t wait for the “perfect” time to start house-hunting. Great homes DO move fast in North Carolina, especially during spring and summer.

2️⃣ Watch interest rates closely. Even small changes can affect your monthly payment more than you’d think.

3️⃣ Pay attention during inspections. Things like humidity, crawl spaces, drainage, roofing age, and HVAC systems can become major factors, especially during storm-heavy months.

4️⃣ Get pre-approved before you seriously shop. Prepared buyers tend to have the strongest offers. 😉

5️⃣ Most importantly: buy for your lifestyle, not just the market. The right home is the one that fits your goals, timing, and budget.
