Join us on a Downtown Albertville walking tour on Saturday, April 22nd at 4:00 to hear about the 1908 "Cyclone" and the stories of how our community came together and grew stronger after the storm. This will be almost exactly 115 years from when the storm hit downtown on April 24th. The museum will open at 3:30 and the tour will start at 4:00. FREE!

2 years ago today we were finishing up a major paint project on this beautiful building. As I scrolled through my memories this morning I was reminded of a lot of negativity regarding the white paint.

I am so proud of this building. I am so proud of all of my husbands hard work & patience dealing with all of my crazy requests. I am so proud & thankful for some amazing employees and contractors who have treated this building with love and care. I am so proud & thankful that the City of Albertville is always willing to help with anything we need (ie highway closures! 🤪). I am so proud & thankful to have amazing commercial and residential tenants who help bring this building to life every day. I am incredibly thankful for Mr & Mrs Courington for that phone call that sparked this crazy journey. 😉

We still have a long ways to go and we’ll get there one day. But for today, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to take a walk down memory lane and express my sincere gratitude for everyone involved in making this building a standout on the corner of 75 & Main. 😍
