✨ Closing Gifts + Client Gratitude That Hit Me Right in the Heart

I forgot to share!!

Last Tuesday at Trivia Night (because we found fellow trivia nuts just like us), I brought my clients their closing gifts - which is honestly one of my favorite parts of the job. I love choosing things that feel thoughtful, personal, and genuinely useful. It’s my little way of saying, “I see you, and I’m cheering for your next chapter.”

But they completely surprised me.

They handed me a thermal gun (because as skilled as my eyes are, I still cannot see through walls) and an Amazon gift card. I was caught off guard and had a little trouble reading my card - partly because I didn’t have my glasses, but mostly because my eyes got a little teary. And when I finally read it… that’s when it really hit me.

Their written sentiments - paired with everything they’ve said to me over the past couple of months - were the kind of appreciation that stays with you. They’ve told me how much they valued my effort, how supported they felt, how every detail mattered to them, and how grateful they were for the way I showed up for them from start to finish. Hearing it in person was meaningful… but seeing it in writing made me stop and smile in that deep, genuine way.

Those moments remind me why I love what I do. Real estate isn’t just contracts and keys - it’s trust, connection, and people who make you feel appreciated in ways you never expect.

Feeling grateful for clients who become friends, for Trivia nights that turn into memory-makers, and for the kind of kindness that lingers. 💛

🏡 Just Sold! 🎉

There's something truly special about helping someone find the place they'll call home — and this one was a journey worth sharing.

It started with a referral. A listing broker in South Carolina was helping an amazing couple sell their home and needed a trusted Realtor® in Albuquerque to help them with their purchase. He vetted me, liked what he saw, and sent them my way. That kind of trust means everything. 🙌

These were seasoned buyers — they knew exactly what areas they wanted to live in and a clear list of needs vs. wants. They had a very specific timeframe. But the market had other plans. We faced fierce competition in their price range and hit one obstacle after another.

Then came the moment. I was sitting at lunch with a friend when the text came in — could I write up an offer right now? I said yes, stepped away, wrote it up, and then made arrangements to view the home in the evening with them virtually.
