STUCCO!!! Paint or not to paint? Natural stucco is a very porous material and it needs to breath. When it rains the high porosity of stucco allows the water to evaporate very quickly. If you do decide to paint your natural stucco please remember that you will have to maintain the paint of your house more often then you would if you had siding on your home. Imagine if you had something like this picture. Where some of the paint starts to flake away. Then when it rains it gets inside and under the existing paint and cant properly evaporate like natural stucco. Then it can cause the stucco to deteriorate much quicker then normal because the water cant evaporate properly because of the paint. So if you paint plan on painting and doing repairs every 5 to 7 years. Paint can be your friend if you do your maintenance.

Presentation is super important when selling your home. Its not about what you like, its about selling your home and letting buyers use their imagination while looking at your home. Just keep it simple. A little bit of paint makes a huge difference in my opinion.
