Most people don’t know you can buy a house in Albuquerque without a bank.

Some sellers will carry the financing themselves. You pay the seller instead of a mortgage company. Here in New Mexico we call it a real estate contract.

It’s not right for everybody, and every seller sets their own terms. But if a lender’s already told you no, it’s worth knowing this exists.
